在桃園沿岸建置5座高頻陣列式海象雷達站，即時監測近岸約40公里海面之波浪及海流，相關資料可提供海岸管理單位應變參考使用。

Center Weather Administration has set up 5 Oceanographic HF Radar System over Taoyuan coast to monitor waves and currents on the sea surface up to approximately 40 kilometers offshore in real time. The data can be used as a reference for coastal management department in response planning.
