整合臺灣本土發展之先進地震動預估式、震源模型、場址參數及空間內插技術,開發全自動化高精度地震動推估技術。於地震後,結合中央氣象署與國研院國家地震工程中心實測地震數據,迅速評估全臺各地之地震動強度分佈,包含地表最大加速度、最大速度及譜加速度等主要地震動資訊,並提供各地實測加速度反應譜與現行耐震設計規範比對。建立GIS介面之網頁平台,提供視覺化查詢介面,供震後災情評估及救災應變參考。
The system combined Taiwan’s the advanced ground motion prediction equation, earthquake source models, local site parameters, and a spatial correlation model to automatically generate a high-resolution shake map, which is the distribution of ground motion intensities shortly after an earthquake happens. Based on field observations from the strong motion networks of the Central Weather Administration (CWA) and NCREE, the estimates include peak ground acceleration (PGA), peak ground velocity (PGV) and spectra acceleration (SA). The observed response spectra across Taiwan are compared with the design spectra by Taiwan building code. All the estimated shake maps for earthquakes in Taiwan are available for graphical inquiry on a GIS- based web platform, serving as a reference for post-earthquake damage assessment and emergency response.
