The Ocean Radioactive Information System (TW-ORIS) operates a marine dispersion forecasting and early warning system. It integrates ocean dispersion simulations with marine radiological monitoring data, consolidates relevant response measures from various government ministries, and compiles key domestic and international information. Through a visualized display platform, TW-ORIS delivers timely and accurate information on the impact of ALPS-treated water discharges from the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant, along with related scientific knowledge, making it publicly accessible for societal reference.
